What Are Ultrasonics?

Ultrasonics are instruments that use sonic energy to clean debris, remove posts, and prepare roots for root canals and apicoectomies. These instruments have smaller tips that allow Dr. Morshedi to complete root canal treatment and microsurgery with greater precision, giving patients better results.

How Do Ultrasonics Work?

Just as “ultraviolet” means electromagnetic waves that are beyond the range of human vision, “ultrasonic” means sound waves that have a frequency too high for us to hear. Our ultrasonic tools vibrate at these high frequencies, which makes them highly effective at performing critical tasks in the confined spaces inside and around a tooth.
